Drake Cooper recently announced an update on the leadership of their organization with the appointment of vice-presidents John Drake and Mindy Stump.

John Drake will add the title of vice president to his current role as chief strategy officer, which he assumed in 2019. John has been around the agency since his teens, his first role being a somewhat less prestigious “runner”. “His official career began with the Deutsche in Los Angeles, then moved on to senior positions with WongDoody and headed his own agency, Forstoryz, in Portland before joining Drake Cooper fifteen years ago. Robins, UCLA and many more. John’s role will be to oversee the agency’s work products. His teams will include planning and strategy, creativity, media and analysis.

A new addition to another vice president, Drake Cooper. After a thorough search within the industry, the company is excited to welcome Mindy Stump as its Vice President, General Manager. Mindy will oversee the agency’s business activities, client success and business development teams. He has recently held leadership positions with VMLY & R and has brought to Drake Cooper a deep background in agencies large and small. Her significant digital experience ranges from complex website build projects to leading digital AOR relationships. His team has led efforts for clients such as Facebook / Meta, SKYY Vodka, Carnival Cruise Lines, Crystal Cruises, Driscoll’s, Haas Automation, and Mazda.

Jamie Cooper will remain CEO until 2022 and will continue to chair Drake Cooper’s ESOP Board of Directors.
